The third round of PISA is
planned for 2006. It will involve approximately 25 000 youths from 1000
schools across Canada. In Newfoundland and Labrador, 78 schools will be
participating. As in the past, it will assess reading, mathematics, and
science. In PISA 2006, however, science will be the primary assessment
domain. Copies of all material sent to participating schools are
provided below in pdf format. Instructional resources for teachers and
