School Development: "Building a Learning Community" |
| School development is a systematic approach to change at
the school level designed to guide and focus a school towards the achievement of its mission - enhanced student learning.
Developed within the context of both the provincial and district strategic education plans, a School Development Plan
reflects the uniqueness of the local school environment. The Newfoundland and Labrador School Development Model is a results
oriented process that involves collective reflection, analysis, problem solving, planning, and continuous improvement leading
to the attainment of specific school goals.
