 Estates Division

Home


The Estates Division operates under the Registrar of the Supreme Court and administers estates and provides guardianship services bestowed by a specific court order or by operation of law. It also acts as the financial branch where monies are paid into and out of Court.


Responsible for:

  • Administering the estates of deceased persons upon appointment by the Supreme Court;
  • Administering the trusts of minors, upon appointment by the Supreme Court;
  • Administering the trusts of mentally disabled persons upon appointment by the Court or by virtue of the Mentally Disabled Persons Estates Act; and
  • Administering funds paid into Court or to the Registrar under various statutes.
