Responsible For:
|
|
Planning, developing and implementing the fiscal policies and
procedures required for the administration and monitoring of
all petroleum projects.
|
|
|
Activities include: negotiation, preparation and development of
Provincial petroleum fiscal agreements and related provincial
legislation; development and administration of the Province's
onshore and offshore petroleum royalty regulations; planning,
coordinating and executing audits of project operators and
owners; and collection, monitoring and administration of
revenues from these petroleum projects.

Serving as an information source to the department's executive,
other government departments and agencies, active and
prospective members of the petroleum industry, and to the
general public.
