General Information
The Provincial Archives of Newfoundland and Labrador (PANL) is
mandated, through the Archives Act, to facilitate the Records
and Information Management (RIM) Program for the Government of
Newfoundland and Labrador. The Records Management Unit of PANL
is responsible for carrying out this program.
The RIM Program provides a variety of services to its Government
clients including consultation on such issues as record disposal,
retention scheduling, storage, and classification. Please refer
to the section on Programs for further
information.
The Records Management Unit is staffed by two employees:
