Registration and Regulations for On-Site Users

Registration Procedure

Researchers must complete a Researcher Registration Form, at the Reference Desk, on their first visit to the Provincial Archives. Your signature on this form is an agreement to abide by the Research Regulations.

A permanent researcher number is assigned at this time and is used on any future visits to the Archives. (Reference staff can locate your number very quickly if you've forgotten it.)

An initial processing fee of $10.00 is payable at the time of registration. (This is a one-time charge only and allows unlimited use.)
