Power and Control Wheel The Power and Control Wheel is frequently used by those who work with victims of domestic violence to demonstrate how power and control issues are at the core of abusive behaviors and to illustrate and describe the different dimensions of abuse and violence. The Power and Control Wheel can be used in many different types of relationships, still all are based on the premise that the person who abuses is exerting power and control over her/his victim.
